It has potential, but where are the user samples and swing knob? I don't understand why NI introduced this feature while keeping it this limited.
That is the whole point I think, to create something very simple, easy to use and controllable with existing hardware. That is why I use it.
For more complex use cases there is the remix deck with pattern player mapping, it link to maschine / live.
I need my 4 track decks though. I don't want to sacrifice a deck to trigger one shot sequences when it can be done with the pattern player. It makes no sense that people can't load their own samples into it.
I would like to see pattern player become a beat glitch type effect where I can define presets and then the track would glitch or stutter like a gate effect.
