How can I finish Komplete 11 projects on a brand new Mac?!

I’m intending to purchase a MacBook Air M3 following the not-exactly-unexpected passing of my 2012 MacBook Pro. As a result I had a couple of compatibility questions:

I own Komplete 11.

I understand that OS15 Sequoia is currently unsupported by NI.

Is Komplete 11 compatible with MacOS 14 Sonoma? (No…?)
If not, does Komplete 15 Standard include all the instruments, plug-ins etc. from Komplete 11?

Essentially, I have a bunch of unfinished projects utilizing Komplete 11. Will I be able to continue to work on those projects if I get a MacBook Air M3, run Sonoma on it and upgrade to Komplete 15 Standard?

If not, do you have any tips or advice on how I might be able to go about completing those projects that use Komplete 11?! Buy an older machine and install an older OS on it that is compatible with Komplete 11?! (Please no…)

What OS was on the older computer?

Komplete 11 is just a bundle of products, you wiill find all the latest versions available or the last compatible ones with your system in Native Access. Make sure to enable tick the legacy box.

SInce it's a new M/Apple Silicon mac, if you want to open older programs or older projects you will need to run your DAW in Rosetta mode: How to Open Your DAW Using Rosetta

Depends which of the products in the K11 package you're using. Some will have been updated, others might not. Sequoia isn't officially supported but the general opinion on the Internet is that most things work ok. Do you have a list of which products you need ?

Kontact Factory Library, Maverick, The Giant, Una Corda, Gentleman, Grandeur, (I guess I'm a bit fan of the pianos), Absynth 5, Guitar Rig 5, Scarbee Vintage Keys, Session Strings, Kinetic Metal.

Wow… the last update that the old computer was compatible with was either Catalina or Big Sur…
Info on Rosetta is extremely useful, thanks.

On further sleuthing it does appear that all the products I need to use are not legacy, which is fabulous news. Thanks very much.
