Maschine Mk3 cuts sound when turned on.

I have a problem with my Machine mk 3. It is plugged in via a USB as per instructions, driver downloaded and installed. All updates done and installed. The problem is that everytime I turn the Maschine on it cuts out the audio.

I would be greatful for any suggestions.

It is a PC, sorry I should have mentioned that.

Mac user, but I suggest going into the Maschine Preferences and having a look at your Audio tab, specifically Device and Driver.

Make sure those align. And I believe a WASAPI Driver for PC usually solves this issue.
