Hello everone. I`m a prog metal composer who wants to improve quality of my sound. I use GuitarPro for composing. Will Session Guitarist be able to read accurately interpret MIDI files exported from GuitarPro? What with deteting techniques like dead notes, palm muting or tapping? Usually people use patterns or MIDI kontrolers with this vst and I want be sure that it`ll work for me before buying.

First of all for these Session Guitarist libraries some have a "melody" instrument, meaning a note by note version of the instrument, all have them also have pre-recorded patterns you can re-arrange in some way. So you should be able to use the note by note instrument but your MIDI files won't work with the patterns. The dead notes, palm muting, tapping, etc….will not translate. To conclude, this doesn't look like a great idea for your use case.
