Hi, By now you have so many plugins (Plugin Alliance, Izotope, NI), when are you going to make a DAW controller in competition with Softube?

I'm able to get Logic Pro 11 control via Maschine Mikro MK3 and/or Kontrol M32 natively. If you want specific mappings, NI offers the Controller Editor application for that purpose. It can be tedious and daunting for new users or the faint of heart but, fear not! Learning something new never killed anyone…unless they were learning a new way to die I suppose…🧐

Outside of that, I think the DAW programmers would need to provide plug and play accessibility for specific midi controllers in general. For instance, my Maschine+ DOES NOT have native control over Logic Pro 11 the way the Mikro MK3 does, but I don't think that has anything to do with NI and their team of developers.

I think the folks over at Apple provide the framework for specific devices to control certain parameters of Logic while also allowing for some robust user crafted templates as well.

I'm using a hybrid setup myself with my own midi mappings for hardware devices that control aspects of Logic. I've integrated a Traktor F1, Maschine+ and Mikro MK3, and an M32 Kontrol into the Logic Pro 11 workspace.

Sorry for the long answer, but any of NI's controllers can be used in midi mode with custom templates to control any aspect of numerous DAWs currently available.

Maybe there is something to say for establishing a device specifically for controlling the modern DAW interface? I mean, most DAWs are pretty interchangeable these days.

Imagine if the development teams from all these separate DAW platforms got together and created GODAW?!?!

I just want royalties for the name 😑
