Odd behaviour of NTKDaemon and Native Access

Since recently I am observing unreliable behaviour of Native Access in my Windows 10 system. The symptom is that the app will show everything as uninstalled (in fact there are 100+ products installed). In the NTKDaemon log I observe stuff clearly indicating NA is unable to get the installed products:

After spending with the uninstalls and drive permissions and no solution found, I found a simple way to restore the functionality, maybe this helps others in the same situation. None of the methods mentioned in the KB's and forums had any effect except for the following.

1. quit Native Access and run Komplete Kontrol first and load a couple of products.
2. go to Manage Products from Komplete Kontrol
3. this restores the correct state in NA immediately.
4. the logs below show correctly now

This may be something specific to my system causing the problem, but having found a way to mitigate it, I documented it here maybe it will help others in similar situation.
