"Piano One" and other Instruments that I can't find physically on hard drive

I upgraded to Komplete 15 recently, which came with K8 and all its new features.

Usually, I find the "classic" view the most convenient and it gives me a perfect overview of which files and libraries I have installed on my workstation.

When I go into Library View, however, I can see some additional instruments that I seem to be unable to find anywhere on the hard drive I installed Komplete on. For example, there is now a tile, called "Kontakt" which contains a lot of presets and instruments with seemingly more modern sounds, which are not in the regular factory library. When I search for the patch/instrument names on my hard drive, I find some sort of "ghost" file which has no path at all. It is impossible for me to pinpoint where, in which file path this file physically resides. I'm on Mac though, maybe it is different on Windows systems?

The reason why I am still hesitant to use this new library view is because it just doesn't show me what's installed physically - there seems to be some trickery going on which I am not fond of. Also, it is not showing me the original Kontakt Factory Library, which I still use after 10 years since I don't like the newer version of the Factory Library (which seems to be just a rehashed version of the same thing, just with a better looking UI and EQ).

Another weird thing: when you check out the "Piano One" patches under "Tools" - where exactly can I find this Piano One Nki instrument? In the script editor, it says that this instrument was taken from the original Kontakt 3 factory library and updated in 2024. My search for "piano one" on my Komplete hard drive has no results.

If anyone can shed some light on this, I'd be very thankful.

Okay, seems like I had some issues on my hard drive and was able to clear it up. All nki's have been found.

What is still odd is that the "Piano One" as well as the "Lofi Vibes" instruments reside inside the Kontakt8 app "Ressources" folder and can't be uninstalled, nor can define which path or volume they reside on. Not that I will ever need those either - the piano is from the old K3 library and I don't need those Lo-Fi samples either…
