Hello, what's the deal with Native Access instability? Every few weeks, without any indication, I cannot get it to start up, nothing has changed. Now i'm in an eternal spinning "loading products" state again. Argh! No other vendor has this kind of instability in their management tool, what's causing this?????

@olafmol , since you did not return to provide the information requested and needed then I have no alternative but to ask you to please contact N.I. Native Access and Installation Support .

At the page N.I. Native Access and Installation Support be sure to scroll down to page bottom to see if there is a log-in request , if there is then log-in,then at next page again scroll down and small blue chat box ought occur within 15 seconds. Then write in chat box and when getting suggestions then select did not help when it didn't,that ought to bring you on to either chat with human or open a ticket. There has been introduced chat support for Native Access assistance (at least daytime on normal work days)

(You need to use a browser with Cookie , Security and Extensions settings that will allow for log-in on the page for the page to work)

Please check the new KB article on How to get support through the link here

@olafmol , would help to know what is your computer type ? , your exact OS version ? and the version of Native Access used by you ?

Quote me when answering or Ping me and I will then call for a N.I. expert when we have the information needed at hand.

the thing is, I work in IT. When I’m away from my work I don’t want to randomly have to debug my Native Access tool every few weeks. And don’t even go into uninstalling and reinstalling. The fact that it works one moment, and stops working the next, and all the other vendors management tools don’t have this issue, is really driving me nuts. There is some “magic” going ion in NA that seems to be super sensitive and brittle.

Sometimes, the most difficult-to-help customer is somebody who "works in IT". I know, because I resemble that remark!

But still, @PoorFellow gave you 10 days to get back to him, and it looks like you didn't. Even people "in IT" won't wait for more than a day or 3 for a request for more info.

So at some point, people need to move forward. Don't feel bad, the city bus won't wait for you for 10 days, either. It's not all about you. 😉

giving my specs would not help anything. Standard replies like I’ve received plenty of times: did you change anything? Firewalls? Virus scanners? Restart the system. Uninstall and reinstall NA. Yada yada.

@BIF I would definetely love for NI to "move forward" and fix their issues with NA btw. But that would require for them to actually look at the elephant in the room called NTKDaemon..

Anyway, not looking for answers, just letting NI know they still have a problem with their Native Access (2) crapping out randomly…

I fail to see why you even posted here in the first place other than to vent that is. You are obviously not interested in getting any kind of help. You claim to 'Work in IT' and then acts as if it is OK that you both do not care to answer questions from people that want to assist and even presents a "what's the use" attitude to brush off anyone that still attempts to assist.

Had you been a regular here then you would know that I myself have called for N.A. improvements a number of times and even presented a very light sort of very innocent 'hack' turning off the auto-update feature of the app itself. So I myself completely agree that there is room for improvements when N.A. is concerned. However for N.I. then this is all about DRM and protecting their products against piracy as best they can so you can not in earnest expect that N.I. is just going to turn off their DRM protecting attempts just because that you can not be bothered yourself to work with N.I. to improve the actual functionality of the app. Because that it is the general statement that you are coming across with here. You know everything on and off work and otherwise can not be bothered because again you are off work and also still knows everything.

Anyway, not looking for answers, just letting NI know they still have a problem with their Native Access (2) crapping out randomly…

Maybe you ought to have written that in your initial post rather than we all have to waste our time here before getting to that conclusion ?

There is not always an easy solution to every problem in the world but surely the problem can not be solved if one can not even be bothered to try.

you’re not forced to respond. And I’m entitled to vent :)

Posting for no purpose other than venting is next to both being off-topic and spamming the forum. I will close this topic and leave it to someone N.I. to decide if they want to remove the thread all together.
