Launching Komplete Kontrol and Instrument Plugins in DaVinci Resolve Fairlight
Hello,
I have recently acquired the 8Dio bundle and while doing so switched from the older light version of Native Access and Komplete Kontrol to the dark Native Access 2 and the newer version of Komplete Kontrol. Previously, I have used Komplete Kontrol to launch and record audio plugins, specifically VST instruments directly in DaVinci Resolve Fairlight. However, I have not been able to open Komplete Kontrol and its instruments in DaVinci Resolve since I've made the switch to the newer softwares. I have tried locating the downloaded plugin files in a variety of ways but with no success. I'm considering going back to the previous version of Native Access and Komplete Kontrol. However, they are now listed as softwares for Windows 7, hence why I'd rather stick with the most recent versions.
Other softwares like Kontakt 7 open without trouble inside of DaVinci. Both Komplete Kontrol and Native Access 2 open well when launched on their own but not inside of DaVinci Resolve.
Can instruments downloaded with Native Access 2 still be opened in DaVinci Resolve through Komplete Kontrol the way the older Native Access instruments were? Has the process of installing the plugins changed?
I would appreciate any assistance you can provide! Thanks for your time. 😊

Komplete Kontrol is now vst3 only. I'm not familar with DaVinci Resolve Fairlight as a DAW. I imagine it supports VST3. Please check with your DAW how to enable vst3s. VST3 are installed by default in this location: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

At a glance then it appear to me that DaVinci Resolve has a lot of problems with using VST3. I think that you might have greater luck getting advice on all of this over at the DaVinci Resolve forum.
