I cannot access the Maschine MK2 controller software
Hi everyone,
Would a kind person help to resolve my issue?
After 10 years in my garage, I reopened an old carton where my Maschine MK2 was stored. My issue now is that I cannot access the Maschine controller software, even though I have already downloaded the latest version and checked everything on Native Access. I cannot find the program called "Maschine controller MK 2 driver setup PC". I also downloaded and installed the " Deviceupdater", but unfortunately, it's like nothing is installed. I tried 3 times to uninstall and reinstall, but I still cannot find the software (on the latest Windows version)
The hardware looks to work fine, but it does not make any sound without the software open.
Should I perform anything else?
Thanks a lot in advance for your support!
Sam

What version of the Maschine software were you using? Was it Maschine 1.8? This was discontinued some years ago. Here is the installer, if you're on Windows it should still work: Maschine 1.8.0
Make sure to tick that box in Native Access:
If that's not enough, please also follow these steps: My Maschine Controller Does Not Start

Komplete Select is a bundle so you'll find the latest versions of the products of the bundle in Native Access. For the expansion, here is the oldest version i could find: CHROMATIC FIRE

Hi Jeremy,
Thank you so much for your responsiveness and efficiency. I appreciate it.
You're right, it works now by using Maschine 1.8.0.
Once installed, the serial number activation step is not so intuitive as the guide is outdated, and not clear if the process was successful and what the next steps were, but I finally succeeded.
- I'm wondering now if all the sound packages/expansions I downloaded on Native Access are compatible with my device and software version.
2. Also, how can I retrieve the serial numbers of the old sound packages (lost) I purchased in the past?
Many thanks for your support.
Best,
Sam

Hey Sam,
- The expansions are probably not compatible anymore but we might be able to provide old versions. Which ones do you own?
- Which sound packages do you mean? Expansions? I didn't see that many on your account.
There is also a Maschine library you can find here: Maschine Library 1.8.0
There might be complications since the software was discontinued 10 years ago and a lot of our plug-ins have been updated since then, we can't guarantee the functionality of everything.

Hi Jeremy,
Thanks for your reply; I'll have a look at your link. To be honest, I don't remember exactly which expansions I purchased, but according to the My Products page within my accounts, I see the following ones:
Blocks Base for KOMPLETE
RBBST-0FK2T-HPWPY-XXXXX-XXXX
Expansion - Chromatic Fire
X21AN-LME2T-MXGFB-XXXXX-XXXXXXX
KOMPLETE 11 SELECT for existing MASCHINE
08394-93739-57890-XXXXX-XXXX
KOMPLETE ELEMENTS MK2 Maschine MK2 Edition
97707-71015-83579-XXXXX XXXx
Native Browser Preview Library
NB1K5-C3D5B-KCBF5-XXXXX-XXX
Does that help?
Thanks,
Sam
