Traktor Pro 4 compatibility with Windows 11 24H2?

Windows 11 24H2 has a new kernel, does that have an impact on Traktor or e.g. ASIO drivers?

Is anyone here already using the latest version of Windows 11?

The reason for the question is that there are official reports that, for example, various games or their anticheat no longer work.

So far I haven't been able to find any useful information about what the situation is with other software and drivers.

Everything is running smoothly here, I updated my devices a few weeks ago using the MS Update Assistant.

Traktor Pro 4 also runs normally, most of the software problems apparently affected games because some manufacturers did not provide any updates.

Before the update, did you make sure that everything was up to date: BIOS, drivers, all programs?

If nothing helps, maybe remember to make a backup of your data and do a clean install.

Offtopic, but I believe lots of the game issues on 24h2 are from an issue with auto HDR

The Windows 11 24H2 update has a bug affecting audio output on a variety of devices, including integrated speakers on PCs and laptops, as well as Bluetooth devices, headsets, and other audio equipment. This issue is specifically linked to systems using Dirac Audio software, designed to enhance audio clarity and precision, and the associated cridspapo.dll file.

As a result, Microsoft has temporarily paused the update for a limited number of Windows 11 devices from a specific, undisclosed manufacturers. Unfortunately, no immediate workaround is available, and users will need to wait for a new version of the affected driver to resolve the problem.

Additionally, a previous audio bug in Windows 11 24H2 caused sound output to be set at full volume (100%) for end users.

Yes, computer forums are also full of problem reports, which is why I wanted to know beforehand whether everything was compatible.

Fortunately, everything went well on three computers here; we have been running this version for some time now, including gaming, Traktor, etc.

But I advise anyone who is unsure or not very familiar with technology to wait until the version is more mature.

Apparently I am using a USB device or I have used a USB device that is having problems.
The new update was automatically blocked for me

It is blocked if incompatibilities are detected, which means either your software and firmware are not up to date, or there is no update for one of your components.

I would say it's because Microsoft have bitten off way more than they can chew with this update.

Yes, the quality of the updates has been poor lately.

On the other hand, the compatibility problems are the manufacturer's fault, because the update was in beta long enough and it was also known that a kernel change was imminent.

But updates cost money because you have to hire developers to do them, and some companies, e.g. like Ubisoft, have put this off for a long time.
