Hello. I have a problem with the new view of K8. It won'won't display most of my libraries, even though the classic view works as it should. Previous versions of Kontakt work too. Also, Chords and Phrases are not there when I use the tools option. Will you be releasing a patch to fix these issues soon?

Unfortunately you ddn't mention your operating system. Please try resetting Kontakt 8's database:
Mac:
Reinitialize the Kontakt Database
- Hold down the alt key on your computer's keyboard and click Go in the Finder menu bar. Choose the appearing Library entry in the drop-down menu.
- Navigate to Application Support > Native Instruments.
- Depending on the Kontakt version you are using, delete the following folder:
Kontakt 5: "Kontakt 5"
Kontakt 6: "Kontakt"
Kontakt 7: "Kontakt 7"
Kontakt 8: "Kontakt 8" - Start Kontakt as a standalone application (not in your DAW).
Windows:
Reinitialize the Kontakt Database
- Click the Windows start button at the bottom left of your screen.
- Type "%localappdata%" and click the option that appears.
- Navigate to the Native Instruments folder.
- Then, depending on the Kontakt version you are using, delete the following folder:
Kontakt 5: "Kontakt 5"
Kontakt 6: "Kontakt"
Kontakt 7: "Kontakt 7"
Kontakt 8: "Kontakt 8" - Start Kontakt in standalone mode (not in your DAW).
1 - Hold down the alt key on your computer's keyboard and click Go in the Finder menu bar. Choose the appearing Library entry in the drop-down menu.

Hi Jeremy
Thank you very much for getting back to me. I agree, I should have mentioned that I am running Windows 11. Anyway, I followed your suggestion and am happy to confirm it has solved the problem. All my instruments and the tools are available.
Thanks again
Steven

The above answer was not correct in my case. But at least it lead me in the right direction
You can find a Library folder two places on a Mac. In the root folder and in the users folder. And there is the exact same path below. I first tried the root folder and that ended up bad.
Then I restored the files there and found the one in the Library tree below my user name. That fixed it finally. You have to leave the stand alone app open for 15 minutes or so if you have the big Komplete package before everything is built.

Similar issue for me but the difference is that most of my libraries are now stuck in a 'Native Instrruments' folder in Kontakt 8. When I open that folder, all patches are shown in a list. The classic view works as expected - everything is visible again but in a less usable view. What have I done? 🤔 Thank you in advance.

Hey @red da silva Your issue seems quite different, it would have helped to make a distinct post about it. This Native Instruments folder should not show here.
Did you move some folders after installation? If you right click one of the presets here and choose show in Finder, what is the path shown?

I Have Exactly the same issue. When i click "show in Finder", i points me to where all my ibraries are installed. I have no clue what to do next. i have followed all instructions as per above. funny though, in Classic view, all libraries are visible as they should be. Nad yet in the new view, only 8 Libraries are showing.
My System is Mac OsSonoma 14.7.1

Can you try a variant of the above?
- Hold down the alt key on your computer's keyboard and click
Go
in the Finder menu bar. Choose the appearingLibrary
entry in the drop-down menu.
- Navigate to
Application Support > Native Instruments > Kontakt 8
- Rename or delete the Komplete.db3 file
- Launch Kontakt 8 in standalone
Did that fix it?
If not, do you have Clean My Mac installed?
