Photone missing samples

iMac running Reaktor 5 failed. Bought identical model and restored with Time Machine. Reaktor 5 works but it realizes it’s on new hardware. I would activate it as it is legal but it appears to be retired. I installed Reaktor 6 it also works fine however the ensemble I use is Photone. While it does work and all the patches I use also work fine. My question is when I drag Photone into the workspace it pauses to warn me about 1100 plus sample files that are missing and shows me the file path (in German) where it expects them. I have searched for a few of them on my iMac but nowhere to be found. I’d like to do do out if I can fix this. Thanks!

Hello,

first, click Cancel, so the ensemble stop searching for the rest, and open.

then, click the Sampler button at the top-right, to open the sample map

then, select all samples, and make sure the "Embed" function is enabled on all samples

then, right-click on the selected samples and choose "Clear location"

finally, save the ensemble (not as a copy in your user folder, but search for the original and overwrite it!)

Thank you Sunborn. I tried that but I don't seem to have the embed function. All I see is Name and Location. Is there something I must do to turn that on?

Are you sure that you are using Reaktor 6 Full version and not the Player (demo) version?

I see it as player version but no indication of being Demo

Player version is the demo for the Full version. You can only play the ensembles… no edit, no creation etc. etc.

Thanks for your help. I was able to remove the missing samples and save the ensemble after all in Reaktor 6 player. I just have to remember to always use my version of the Photone ensemble.
