2 macs One Traktor..and alias

So i've been a Traktor power user for a long time, and despite the crazy "can't load on deck" for ages bug, and not adding the simple vinyl stop feature when you stop a the track like any other DJ software… i'm very ok with it.

I' m a backup freak and the best way i found to backup my Traktor is to direct copy the essencial folders to my 2nd laptop and to an external Backup hard drive. (I only copy the recently changed files).

the 2nd laptop travels with me (toghether with my primary), and the external drive stays at home.

My second laptop has the exact same user name so the file structure is the same, so I can use it as a backup laptop if the primer fails, and every files are the same.

What i wanted to do now, is to run traktor on my main iMac at home, so it would be much easier to prepare and ad new songs.

So as a power mac user my first idea is to use alias. I would set alias as the folders on the external drive were in the same virtual location as on my laptops… but it doesnt work.

somehow Traktor doesn't accept alias?

Anyone got to solve this?

Please Native Instruments can you add this simply functionality existing in EVERY mac program?
