I have followed theonline resources at https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001940438-Maschine-Error-Missing-Plug-ins-The-following-Plug-ins-could-not-be-loaded
and still cannot load the missing files what is strange is i have the "Deadend" preset available in Massive when i open the plugin on its own.
Please Help?

Its saved the setting now think I just had to save a live set for it to remember
It could be a VST2 vs VST3 thing. Maschine was updated to VST3, but Massive is old, so presumably VST2.
I tried vst vst3 and au all in the right folders

It's definitely looking for the vst2 plugin. On the preferences of maschine there is a setting for plugins to always use the latest version please check if this is enabled.
Where is the setting
Under the list of plugins on the plugins page as far as I remember.

It appears that the you need to select use AU and rescan every time you reopen live is this the case?
t's not normal, that you have to do it every time, it should remember the settings and the results of the scan
Ill check tonight when I get home I saved the Ableton project file. It does take about 5-10 minutes to scan though not very appealing
Have you tried to set this in stand alone mode, and then close maschine stan alone and open then the ableton project? Even if this shouldn't make a difference.
