Traktor 3 and S4 MK3 semi-freezing randomly

So, why can this be?

Sometimes traktor stops playing, all controlls still work, but the audio doesnt work. The songs look like blurry and I have to re-start the software.

I was using for years a S4 MK2 and this never hapened. I just changed to a S4 MK3 and now it started happening.

Any ideas or relatable situation?

    Similar to my situation. I just upgraded to TP4 so we'll see. So far so good.

    I am having the same issue since 2022 when I switched from traktor 2 to traktor 3 with the s4mk3. I already contacted the support back in the days but nothing seemed to work. since then I am playing with this problem always in fear that my music will drop out. I also upgraded to traktor 4 but the problem remains. I got it to crash twice after using it in the first 2 hours, so I never tried it at a venue because it seems to be even more unstable than traktor 3.

    What kinda helped was increasing the buffer size to a point where my latency is so high that it is almost impossible to play with and even then it crashes but not so frequently. What also seemed to help is to use as little as possible functions of the software (no effects, no scratching, etc.). When I play that way I might get over the night without a crash but when scratching a lot it is almost certain that it will happen.

    Maybe it's a problem with the M1 Pro chips because when I read of the problem the users probably all use the M1 Pro (like myself) but I don't know.
