Organizing Samples on SD Card in Maschine Plus?

I got a new to me Maschine Plus and recently dropped a folder full of samples onto the SD card.

However, they're now just in one long alphabetical list. I had them in folders, hoping that would create some kind of organization, but it didn't.

Am I missing something? Or is that just how it is and I need to scroll for a while to get to the lower alphabet things?

Ideally if you value organization you should tag the samples in the Desktop version of Maschine SW, tags are baked into the wav files so can be read by the M+. Also, main tags such as "Content type" One-Shot or Loop dictate in which part of the respective Browser tab the sample shows up and also if it's loaded with the Sampler or Audio Plug.

If the folder you add to the lib has sub-folders, the 1st will show up in Maschine Browser as "Bank" and the sub-sub-folder will be "sub-bank", so you can narrow things down even without tags.

    This:

    =

If you add the folder thru the settings.

I need to scroll for a while to get to the lower alphabet things?

If you dont want to carefully organize your samples I guess you can just use the main 4D Knob + Shift to scroll 10x faster
