Selecting Browse Mode H'ware - S88 Mk1 w/KK 2.9.6

I'm using an S88 MK1, so I have to use KK 2.6.9, which is fine, but I'm still not understanding some of the instructions. Re: the scrnshot below, I found the Prefs page under the Edit menu, but it takes me no further than that. Where's the Kybd page, etc? I tried sending this issue to the Support Desk, but the site won't let me. I know BOTH of these products are outdated as far as Support is concerned, but I had someone in the Community, that works very close with Support to send it to you to see what you could suggest.

If you open the preferences you should have a hardware page selector on the bottom of the left side.

Sorry, I've already been there. That's what my scrnshot is that I sent earlier. It doesn't allow me to choose On-Screen Overlay. That option is grayed out.

I've just tried logging a ticket with Support, but it keeps sending me around in circles. 😝😝
