How can I get this to install? NDTK

Hi everyone. I have gone to update my Native access & update my plugins but I got an error message saying old NDTK service could not be removed, please go to add and remove programs to remove it manually, although its not there.

So i downloaded the NDTK file and went to the link i will place below and followed th instructions. no joy. ANy help is appreciated as I would like to get this resolved asap.

NTKD installer stills thinks there is an older version on the system :-(

Try installing the old version 1 to see if you can do that : Windows 7, 8 (latest SP, 32/64-bit) Native Access 1.14.1

If that install then reboot computer and then uninstall old version if possible , then run the NI Uninstall RegTool_64bit and remove references to Native Access and NTKDaemon

Then reboot computer again and download and install latest version of Native Access for your OS.

There is a manual way to uninstall the older version of NTKDaemon service, if you are comfortable with your Windows.

First, go to Folder Options and enable the option "Show Hidden files, folders and drives".

Then go to C:\ProgramData search for a folder named as in the image below and open it.

Now you can see the NTK installation files.

Right-click the Windows Installer package (not the NI) and click "Uninstall".

After done, reinstall Native Access, to get the latest version of this file (the one from the support link is 3 months old, probably there is a newer version). Logically, you should be ok!
