Tip: Use “Lock States” to save external gear presets inside your Maschine+

Lock states are a great way to save your external gear’s presets directly on your Maschine+

Start by midi mapping the parameters of your external synth or drum machine on a Maschine project. If using Maschine+ export as a group to load on standalone mode. (Jeff Gibbons has a great tutorial on how to midi map external gear, on YouTube).

Sound design directly on your Maschine+ and don’t forget to save your parameters using “Lock States”. You can save up to 64 Lock States.

Every time you load your project in the future you just need to pick the “lock state(s)” you saved, to instantly change the parameters on your hardware synth or drum machine.

Happy sound designing.

👏 Great 😃 now you can connect M+ to itself to be able to play lock States in Keyboard mode in patterns, Scenes , Clip's and practically do every crazy Automation/Modulation all the way to simple fade in or out ect. Changing personal setups. 🙂 Amazing, I really think that Honestly.
