Prerequisites for Guitar Rig 5 Pro Upgrade and Guitar Rig 7 Pro Update
If I want to sell these licenses, what does the buyer need to have to use them? My guess is that either GR 5 Pro or GR 6 Pro will work with the RG 7 Pro Update. The GR 5 Pro Upgrade is older and it is unclear which of the several versions of GR 5 below Pro it would apply to. I haven't found a way to ask NI Support these questions directly.

Answer - 7 Pro Update works for 4-6 Pro. Based on 7 Pro Upgrade requirements, it looks like 5 Pro Upgrade should work for the Elements and LE versions of 5.

"There are multiple licenses that are a valid base product for Guitar Rig 5 Upgrade. The main ones are Guitar Rig 3 and 4 LE and some Komplete Elements legacy bundles.
Please note that you have used Guitar Rig 5 to update to Guitar Rig 7, therefore if you sell 5, you will no longer be able to use 7."
