Moving NI files on a Mac

Hi,

I have a large NI installation all based on my Mac's hard drive. I now want to move all the library material onto an external SSD drive. I created the appropriate folder and set that as the Content Location in Native Access.

However, the files have not moved so I guess I have to move them myself. What folders do I need to move?

    Hi Mark,

You can find the NI Library folders inside Library/Users/shared. If possible I would download and install the libraries again through Native access.

Thanks Daniel. I moved the files by hand and ran the reinstaller. Everything copied but nothing worked! A restart later and all was well.

I have now successfully moved everything

I know this is late, but if you move your sample libraries to a different location, go into Native Access and click on the kebab on the right of the library. In the drop down, select Locate. In the pop up, just navigate to where the sample library is. No need for reinstalling anything.
