In ~/Documents/Native Instruments/Traktor XXX from your previous installation there should be a backup folder. You can find an older collection.nml file and replace the one from Traktor 4. That should load everything from your previews version.

Be sure to make a backup before you replace any files.

Have you tried with an older file from the backup folder?

Yes so it brought all the tracks to the Track collection but not to the Playlists

To be honest i never trusted Traktor, and heard it happened to others who updated the program so I always keep my playlists on I tunes. That's such a dissapointment, double work and unfriendly to work with.

Plus every time i close the program now I lose the track collection.

Oh, if the playlists are in itunes then I don't know how it works.

Are you using some sort of automated cloud storage btw? Like iCloud. I heard it can at times interfere with traktor saving the collection.

No i am not using cloud and I move the playlists from itunes so they were on traktor playlist folder which is now empty.
