Why does Traktor Pro 4 crash when I load a stems file I generated?

    Hi Heisenberg,
    When I use the generate stems function in Traktor pro 4, the track turns into stems without any problem. However, it happened to me that Traktor pro4 closes as soon as I want to load the stems on a deck.
    I use Traktor pro version 4.0.2.13 under windows 11 family 23H2.
    I have a dell G15 5530 i7 13650HX 16 GB ram. thanks

    Hey I think I am experiencing this as well. Running a 2022 m2 macbook air. Just upgraded to TP4 using 3x D2 controllers including Traktor Simple Screen Hack. Today while prepping a set Traktor crashed 3 times in about an hour. It seemed to happen while dragging tracks into playlists or decks. I am using NUO Stems to create my stem files.

    Are you loading the stem into the same deck that is holding the original non-stem track? What happens if you load a different track into the deck, and after that load the stem?

    Which loading procedure are you using? Drag with mouse, right-click and select load as stem with mouse, load with controller load button?

    What happens if you use a different loading procedure?

    I generate the stems then
    When I load on the deck with the track then Traktor crashes.
    When I load on a different deck with a different track Traktor does not crash.
    To load my tracks, I use my Kontrol D2 or my xone K2. Never with the mouse.
    I tried different loading and it's the same result.
    I think I understood my mistake thanks to your questions.
    The same track cannot exist in both formats at the same time.

    Great that you found the workaround. Still, this is not supposed to happen. NI is working on the bugs concerning stability with stems and resulting bugs with subchannel audio streams of remix decks.

    You are not alone with your concerns.
