S49 MK2 BUG after installing new firmware
Hello ! Since I updated the firmware (0.5.9) my keyboard works but no longer the "octave" keys, nor the pitch and mod wheels or the Touch strip. I reinstalled Komplete Kontrol but I don't know what to do anymore. Is there a way to go back to the previous firmware? Does anyone have any idea? Thanks,
Yul

That's very unlikely linked to the firmware update. Is this happening in Komplete Kontrol in standalone? In your DAW? Both? What DAW are you using? What's your operating system?

Kind of a strange setup - since FW 0.5.9 was released in like 2018.
Did this device just come out of the box this week?

Jeremy, this is happening in Komplete Kontrol and in standalone.
It's the same problem with any software (Live, Protools…) or any standalone midi application.
Apple M2 Max - Ventura 13.0 - Native Acces 3.14.0 - Komplete Kontrol 3.3.2
No VP, I've had it for a long time but I just updated the FW now. I also tried to connect my keyboard with another computer (with another OS) and I have the same problem.
I feel bad for updating because it worked fine before and I can't work with it anymore.
Can I go back to factory settings?
Can I get it repaired?Thank you Jeremy and VP for your messages.

Wow - that is a long time to go without that firmware update.
I have the MKII as well - and I was prompted to update firmware in the minutes following my first connection to the computer.
As Jeremy notes - the FW has nothing to do with your PC recognizing that a keyboard is attached. What kinda cable are you using? Are the ports normal on this computer? No USB hubs etc.
Might also want to try uninstalling Komplete Kontrol v3 and revert back to KK v2.9.6 and see what happens.

It's not possible to downgrade the firmware. Let's see what we can check.
If you open the Komplete Kontrol standalone application, can you take a screenshot of MIDI inputs and outputs?
With the keyboard connected, go to the MIDI settings, and create a new template (back to default):
Disconnect the keyboard, go into the MIDI settings, remove any MIDI assignment.
Still with the keyboard disconnected, go to your Audio & MIDI setup, found in Utilities, choose MIDI Window. Delete the entry for the MK2 keyboard.
Connect the keyboard again, are we making progress?

Thank you Jeremy!
I tried what you asked several times, it didn't change anything.0 -

Yes, I admit it's strange and yet I just did it. :)

I would like to point out that the LEDs work (Octave, Strip, etc.).
Thanks again for your help
