Traktor DJ 2

Hi All,

I was using the Traktor app (Trakor DJ 2) on an old ipad. I have now upgraded to a Surface pro, and notice the app is no longer available, (if it ever was for windows). Traktor Pro 3 runs very well on the surface pro. However, I preferred the larger touch buttons and layout in the app. I am only using the app for wedding ceremonies, so super simple functionality is all I need.

Are there any plans to reissue an ipad/Surface Pro app. If not, what alternatives are you guys using.

Algoriddim djay might be an alternative.

Or virtual DJ with a custom skin.

We've been told Traktor DJ 2 has long since been abandoned. It will continue to run on older iPads but possibly not for much longer, as future iPadOS updates are likely to render it unusable. It was also available for macOS and Windows. I don't know if it's still shown in Native Access for Windows but it still appears in my Native Access for macOS.

I am deeply disappointed in NI for abandoning Traktor DJ 2. There is so much wasted potential. Algorithm’s djay is a toy, looks like a toy, and is embarrassing to use. Wasted opportunity, NI. You could have owned this market. Rekordbox here i come.

I Could not agree more. WASTED POTENTIAL

I have been a Traktor supporter for ever (I guess I still am). BUT What on earth are they thinking.

just updated ipad to ios 18.1 and it does not work anymore.
