distortion and crackling in the speakers

Hello forum friends,I'm at my wits' end and haven't been able to get anywhere for months and haven't found a solution to my problem. I have distortion and crackling in the speakers.Since this cracking still occurs with other boxes and new cables, it is probably due to my laptop. I use DJ software Traktor Pro4 and controller Traktor S4 MK1.I tried different latency sizes. Let the latency moon occur and possibly deactivate sources of interference. I'm really at a loss as to where the lag and crackling is coming from. Ask for your help. Thanks and greetings Dogan

Can you show us the output of LatencyMon?

    • Always use the high performance power plan.
    • Disable any Power Management settings on USB-controllers and USB-roothubs.
    • Disconnect from any (wireless) networks to prevent Windows Update from installing updates.
    • Prevent CPU trottling in Power Management settings.
    • If you have the option to disable SpeedStep (or AMD Cool 'n Quiet) in your BIOS/UEFI settings, do so.
    • Turn off HDD/SSD shutdown feature in Power Management settings.

    What kind of crackling?

    What speakers?

    What cables?

Sollte ausreichen.

I suspect it is because S4 MK1 is not compatible with USB 3 port. I have Windows 10 i5 processor. Should be enough. Does anyone have an idea how I can get rid of the clicking noise? I followed all the tips here in the forum.

What kind of i5-processor? The i3/i5/i7 have 14 generations by now. You can use Hwinfo64 to find out what kind of system you have. I have made a screenshot of the output from my desktop.
