Arranging a track on the fly to catch that «special moment».

WORKFLOW

Prepare the scenes for your track. Use minimal approach, it is important to have time to change things.

Example: One scene for the main section of your track and one for the drop.

Play around your loop and decide your automations. Then prepare the lock states

In your keyboard, select the mixer screen, that way you will be able to change sounds and record phrases on the fly

Create a group with audio sampler. There you will record your performance. 

Then, bounce your performance

 

Mastering

Assuming that you fine balanced your track on alpha stage, then your track just needs some Izotope Ozone refinement and you are ready to go.

Not having any Maschine I am most impressed with the cut-out in you table to allow access to keyboard control surface while having the Maschine hardware that much closer. That's a really great idea though it of course require a custom made table 🙂
