Workaround:

https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/13712583860125-Native-Access-Error-Please-grant-permission-to-Native-Access-to-install-dependencies

Provides a dead link for Windows. :)

#2 De-installing and re-installing didn't fix the issue.

#3 Trying to write the support nowadays is… baffling.

I try to click ANY support button, and I'm logged out.

I click somewhere I am logged out.

I log in. I am logged out.

I need to be logged in to write the support.

But this requires for me to be able to browse the support sites.

I'm getting logged out nonstop.

Did you try installing N.A. on Windows as "admin" - this seems to help a lot these days on my Windows boxes.

Also go to terminal on your PC,

    type

    SFC /scannow

to correct any system permission corruptions.

    Hello,

    I just did sfc /scannow.

    It found nothing.

Then I deinstalled and re-installed Native Access again.

    Same error again.

Then Windows Defender gave me some sort of info box.

That was the final straw for me.

I deactivated Windows Defender security completly.

    I deactivated my VPN.

    Deinstalled Native Access.

    Installed it again as administrator.

    Same result.

    I googled the exact error.

    Got again to:

    https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/13712583860125-Native-Access-Error-Please-grant-permission-to-Native-Access-to-install-dependencies

    Downloaded it again.

Installed the NTKDaemon 1.20 as admin and that fixed everything.

Right now while everything is updating I started my VPN and it still is updating

with my new and old IP.

Now I turn back on every safety-thing on Windows Defender's part.

I'll do a restart and re-check then if Windows Defender kills the NTKDeamon or

    Native Access again.

I've seen this a couple of times that Windows suspiciously doesn't detect

    newer programs.

Either forcing you to Windows 11 or NI isn't willing to pay the extortion

fees for licences to run on Windows?

    Either way:

#1 The support didn't respond at all.

Great sort of feedback that shows me what would happen if I'd buy KOMPLETE 15.

    #2 Thank you.

#3 Windows Defender sucks more each day on Windows 10.
