Input channel "not supported" when connecting turntable to Kontrol S4

I am trying to configure one of the channels on my Kontrol S4 for phono. I've directly connected a Pioneer PLX-1000 phono out to phono line in B on the S4, switched the channel input to phono, and set the deck on live input. In the Traktor Pro 4 preferences, under Phono/Line, input channel reads "not supported." What am I missing?

You can ignore that. I think that is only for some specific hardware.

Assuming s4 mk3, you pressed Shift + EXT on the device itself?

THANK YOU!! The issue was that Traktor did not have access to my "microphone." Changed it in my security/privacy settings, and now it works!
