Does anyone have a comparison chart for Komplete 14 collectors edition and the new Komplete 15 collector edition?
Yeah I would like to see this too. The update from 14 seems a little high to me. Update: now i have done a personal itemization of the differences between K14 & 15, it doesnt seem as high.
Ive done a quick comparison against folders on my hard drive.I have to say this, i have owned most Komplete Kollections since K3, so some of the missing items may be long since gone
But as far as i can tell,
K15 is missing: Action Strings(1) Evolve Mutations Evolve Mutations 2 Reaktor 6?? Replika (not XT) Scarbee A-200 Library Scarbee Clavinet Pianet Library Scarbee Funk Guitarist Library Scarbee Jay-Bass Library Scarbee Mark I Library Scarbee MM-Bass Amped Library Scarbee MM-Bass Library Scarbee Pre-Bass Amped Library Scarbee Pre-Bass Library Scarbee Vintage Keys Library
K15 has (what K14 doesnt)
NI 80s New Wave Acoustic Drums Action Woodwinds Afrobeats Alicia's Electric Keys Bazzazian Bazzazian Tapes Bounce Bouquet Choir: Omnia Essentials Chords Conflux Disco & Funk Drift Theory Drum Breaks Drum State Duets Echo Versions Electric Keys - Diamond Electric Keys - Phoenix Fables Feel It Glaze 2 Hazy Days Higher Place Homage Hot Vocals Ireland Karriem Riggin Drums Kithara Latin Trap Lo-Fi Vibes LO-FI-AF Nacht Phrases Platinum Pop Progressive Trance R&B Licks Rare Vibrations Rolling Tides Rudiments Scene: Saffron Schema: Dark Schema: Light Session Bassist - Icon Bass Session Bassist - Upright Bass Session Guitarist - Acoustic Sunburst Deluxe Session Percussionist Session Strings 2 Session Strings Pro 2 Session Ukulele Soul Gold Sway Utopia Valves Valves Pro Velvet Bloom Vocal Colors Void Eclipse
Izotope: Trash VocalSynth2 Ozone 11 Standard (Neutron4 with pre-order)
Plugin Boutique (I cant remember if any of these were in K14, i owned them all before NI merge): bx_console Focusrite SC bx_console N bx_crispytuner bx_limiter True Peak bx_oberhausen Knifonium
The incentive to pre-order K15 though is the inclusion of Neutron 4. I have Izotope's 'Everything' bundle from last year, so the only product i don't already have is Trash from the PB & Izotope ranges. It would be awesome if there were a few incentives to pick from, like I have RX10 advanced, and would love an upgrader to RX11 instead of getting Neutron again..
I'd expect a proper comparison or "what's new for you" page once Komplete 15 actually releases.
The only interesting thing about this upgrade is the Izotope stuff. Guess that says enough about the state of NI.
Thank you Dan. That is super helpful.
I also have purchased Izotope bundles ( pre merger/aquisition/whatever), and have bought Komplete CE for many many versions now. If anyone from NI is seeing this thread, is there a way to figure a more efficient price structure going forward … for people who've "lived in both camps" for years now ?
Thanks for your consideration,
jep
I have K14CE so I looked at the new additions in 15CE and (even though I bought some of the products as individual purchases after 14CE came out) there's still enough new stuff to justify the upgrade price IMO.
If I divide the upgrade fee by the number of additions that I don't already have, it works out at around 18UKP each, which seems pretty fair to me.
Not counting the Izotope or Plugin Boutique titles, and not including the others I already own (Schema Light and Dark, Fables, and a couple others), it will work out to about $10.90 per title for me. It will be worth it, even though I'm disappointed at the removal of a bunch of older names.
Reaktor 6??
Reaktor 6 is still there. It's about halfway down this page:

Additional Info: There is a very well-maintained comparison spreadsheet out there that was originally created by Ultimate Outsider, and has historical information about all the Komplete versions going back to prehistoric times. gNNY maintains it now I think. It's a Google Docs spreadsheet and appears to have already been updated for K15.

Wait…over 50 new titles? That's actually not bad at all regarding the "state of NI". Or did you not read the list?
The heavy lifting of maintaining the list has been a community effort for quite some years. Without the help of Arrivu, Modem and Ruslanas, the list would not be as accurate and up-to-date as it is right now.
By the way, I just noticed that the original post from Ultimate Outsider on the list is 10 years old. Crazy.
Well thank you to you and the others for maintaining that list. It's a treasure-trove of history for sure, and I probably refer to it at least once a month, sometimes a dozen times in one month!
Thank you Ultimate Outsider. You are a legend.
