i need help with the s4

So i have the og S4 and traktor pro 2 but i cant get it to work with the software and im not buying pro 3 or 4 im already financing my 1st love and god given talent which is my newest guitar and effects board to add to my metal arsenal

How do i get the S4 to work with any software because if i own traktor pro 2 why isnt it working and is NI doing the shady ****** with tech that apple does to force us to uprgade?

Kontrol S4 Mk1 isn‘t supported on modern versions of macOS anymore. Last officially supported version was macOS 10.11 for S4 Mk1. There was a workaround to get it work with macOS 10.12 to 10.14. Traktor Pro 2 isn‘t supported beyond macOS 10.13 anymore.

So no S4 Mk1 with macOS 10.15 or newer. Not with Traktor Pro 3 or 4. Even with another software there are still no drivers for modern macOS.

Some had success with Intel-Macs and manually extracting the driver files. But still no Traktor Pro 2 then. On Apple Silicon: no way. S4 Mk1 is just to old by now.
