Hi everyone. I have Kontakt version 7.6.1, but I recently bought a new VST that requires version 7.10.5.000. I can't seem to find a way to update to this newer version. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance!

Crysis overcome! Both! I re-installed Native Acces v1 in order to properly uninstall. I did it and then I can install Native Access 2: update to 10.5.0 has been absolutely easy. And, thanks to all of you: my new VST is operative and ready to rock. Thanks so very very much to all!

It should show up automatically in Native Access 2. Check that you're running the latest version (3.13 at the moment). If you're still running the older version (Native Access 1) download the latest from here and Kontakt updates should show up - Native Access 2 (native-instruments.com)

If that doesn't help let us know.

If you appear to be "stuck" at Kontakt 7.6.1 - this will either be due to the version of your OS (older Mac systems cannot be upgraded) OR you are running a very old version of Native Access - most likely v1.

Yes, I am using Native Access v1. I'm sure this is the origin of the problem, but another issue has arisen: I can't uninstall Native Access or install Native Access 2 because the first version is still detected as installed. I have tried to uninstall it properly, but an error message keeps appearing. I even tried to delete it manually by erasing folders and related files, but despite the app being gone, the error messages still appear. It's really frustrating; this second issue is even worse than the first. Can you help me, please?

Uninstall and then restart is what I would do first. Cannot tell what file is locked here either but it appears that a service is still running here.

Failing this - you may need to submit a ticket to NI support. Too much messing around at the file level may cause other issues that you want to avoid.
