MASCHINE 3.0 update wishes
Sorry newbie here in the forum, not to the maschine soft- and hardware. Can´t find a discussion for the planned update (see MATTHEW_NI), so I´ve a wish since felt 15 Years:
Please make it possible to route midi out from one vst to midi in of another loaded vst, for example midi out from a sequencer vst (for example stepic) to MassiveX.

isnt that already possible with pad link?

I think @Jean Voyage is right, just link the pads where your vsts are, so whatever one instruments plays the other one does too, very effective when layering drums, but when is about instruments I prefer just to copy the MIDI over, so I can pick the octave I need, or make any change to the instruments melodies separately.

The request of the OP is not possible and quite different from Pad links. It’s about MIDI event manipulation or generation by a Plugin such as Reaktor, which then can be routed to somewhere else.
There’s several requests for that, also in the Ideas for Maschine section.
@consam there is no official discussion of the planned update, NI just took several surveys and now they’re cooking up something - which most probably will be disappointing for many.

so, i think is not my fault, finding an official discussion for the planned update cause there is no discussion. I 've read a lot of this in any kinds of forums and i think this is very frustrating for all involved. But i also think in more and more companys who are interested in a good image, involving users is a must. Not carrying out this will make a change to the companys image with time, and so NI is on that way to be a company started as a innovative think tank and when they go their way, maybe they more faster then they think a discarded company. And in my opinion they doing a lot for that.

Right, I misunderstood the request.
Yeah Maschine does not support midi plugins and internal midi routing.
What you could do is record your plugin’s midi events to a track and go from there…

thanks for your hint, it's a thing of minimalism which triggers me. I tested a lot of possibilities, the best way for me is to open vcv rack as a vst in maschine software, and then open in a a hostmodul the vst (for midi seq. or eq.) and route that midi out to maschine. I also work with Cubase, and there it's a lot easier. Bitwig, i think can do the same easy way and other DAW's too. I think that would be an improvement which can make maschine for me (and other users to) the only DAW i need and very expandable.

you guys mean like a plug in that does the arpeggio for other plug ins? I quite don't understand, like chord generator plug ins? like midi FX in logic? or like a midi track that interacts with an audio track like vocoders in logic? ahahah sorry I feel a bit dumb but I want to understand what you guys are talking about.

… no problem. Arpeggio like Hyperklick for example, it's a vst you can load in maschine. In another pattern you load a synth plugin. No you can set in the synth plugin pattern the midi out from your arp or other vst as midi in to your synth vst. I know you have arps in Maschine and also chords but with hyperclick, stepic, scaler or jamstix you've a bunch more possibilies, variatiations and programmable automations. This combined with maschines lock function would be fabuless.
