Hi!

Im trying to figure out how to split the sound between the track/beat that’s playing from speakers and the prehear sound when I’m choosing a new sound from the library.

So if I’m playing live, and a beat is looping and playing through the speakers out on the dance floor, I don’t want to audience to hear when I’m browsing for new sound to add on the beat. This sound should only be in my headphones.

thank in advance!

Prehear and Metronome are your "CUE", like a DJ Mixer I guess… Just set your Cue to be your MK3 headphones Outputs (EXT. 2) and those things wont be sent to the main Line Out.

    EDIT:

I forgot to mention you might have to turn off "Route Main to Headphones" option:

I bought a Komplete Audio 6. Now I should be able to really split the sound right?? Because I still can’t make it work.

    Thank in advance

Theres no need for KA-6 just for splitting, the MK3 and M+ can do it since the headphone Out is a separate Output from the Main, I forgot to mention you might have to turn off this option:

    Or here:

On the KA-6 there is a button next to the headphone volumes knobs, to toggle between 1-2 or 3-4, so in Maschine set your CUE to be OUTput 3-4, toggle the button "3-4" button on the KA6 and disable "route Main to Headphones" if there is such an option.
