MIDI Channel Maschine 2 and MK3 hardware

When running an VST instance inside Cubase 13 I would like to:

  1. Set the maschine Mk 3 hardware to channel 2
  2. Set the VST instance of Maschine 2 running in cubase to listen to channel 2. ( Easy part)

I could then have my Native Instruments keyboard focused on Groove Agent for instance and have the Mk3 send to the Maschine VST.

Any ideas?
