Loading kontakt instruments in maschine plus

I’m reading that maschine will host kontakt. Does it host kontakt on its own or is it hosting it with a computer connected?

I'm not sure if you mean Maschine, the desktop software that comes with a controller, or Maschine Plus, the standalone version that doesn't need a computer to run.

1. Maschine software: You can load Kontakt in the Maschine desktop software and any Kontakt libraries.
2. Maschine Plus (standalone): You can only load a selection of Kontakt instruments, only the ones mentioned in this product page:

I meant the stand alone. I see that it only loads a particular selection of sounds into Kontakt 6. I was looking to load Piano instruments like Una Corda and Noire. Hoping to get away from using a computer live.

Yes, unfortunately you can't have Una Corda and Noire in the Plus BUT you can use the Auto sampler feature:
