S5 waveform and screen not showing on Traktor V4

Hiya all,

not happy with the new traktor V4.

5 mins before a set, I turn on my S5, and no displays on screens. All buttons work but no screens. So then I open traktor 3 and it works fine.
But then didn't have access tones playlists and folders and tracks.

After getting home today I did a bit of research and some tweaking and fiddling until somehow I got the screen working again (initially the browse button didn't work at all either).
Once I got it all working again….there is still one problem!!
WHEN FULL SCREEN IS SELECTED THE WAVEFORM FREEZES.
(therefore have to always play in non-full screen mode as a workaround).
Any helps or ideas to help fix this bug…?

(I think in traktor 4 they threw in a bug to stop older discontinued or unsupported gear working) :(

While I'm whinging, heres the ****** with Traktor V4…

Not only does it over promises and under deliver on all of the "new" features that is markets to have to be the first version to have to pay for the upgrade.

1/ flexible beat grids aren't flexible, manually resetting lots of grid marker points was possible in older versions. It also downs make the grid "elastic" so it just works with ever changing tempos for say live music or reggae or funk.
2/ Pattern player - was an old feature already included in traktor 3, so nothing new there except a few extra presets :(
3/ Stem separation - what a joke, must be done before playing (EG. Not realtime!!), uses heaps of CPU, AND can only process one track at a time, can't batch select and process, eg. a whole playlists of tracks.
4/ ozone maximizer - despite all the marketing hype its actually ******. even it decreases volume by 6db and I set boost at 4 to 5 db so it never clips or compresses, it still clips and compresses and even worse, it pumps or when compresses there is a notable dip in volume as the compressors release is way to slow/long. Not good at all and definitely audible and not transparent.
Traktor 4 is barely different to V3 and definitely not worth the money for a new GUI and ****** non realtime stem separation & elastic flexible beat grids…. (which virtual dj has had both these awesome features working realtime for ages)….
Really pissed off it downs work properly wit my S5 either (I had an S4 MK3 and it was ******).
hope they bring a new S5 out that comes may with small jog wheels or even if not just a new version that works well with new tractors, as I love having screens and being able to put my laptop off to the side out of sight or even underneath the table top when possible :)
