Do you believe that Traktor Pro 4 in future updates will improve the stems in less time to generate them and the sound quality, which for me sounded a little better in the Traktor Pro 3

Faster? Maybe. Right now they only use the CPU, while most other stem software can use the GPU and be a lot faster.

I doubt the quality will be improved much. There is no other software out there that sounds significant better. Some have slightly better drums, some have slightly better vocals, but then often are slightly worse in other parts.

And if someone creates something better, what are the odds that NI is able to implement it and has the willingness and resources to do so. Slim I would guess.

Traktor pro 3 did not have the ability to split the stems, so maybe you had stem files from studios? They should still work in tp4.

I have another question. They told me that Traktor sounds better on Mac than on Windows. That's true.

    I doubt it.

If you don't mind me asking, what are your issues with t3/t4's sound quality?

They should just let us link an external stem file, no questions asked. I’ve replaced some of the Traktor stems with lossless demucs_ft NUO generated ones, and it works perfectly, so should be trivial to implement. Sound is definitely a bit better to my ears. Color scheme is much more usable too.

For now, you need to find the stem, copy the filename, and replace the file.

On top of that, a ****** but fast, not too memory intensive, GPU accelerated separation, that could be done live, would be extremely useful. I guess I can even live with just a two stems instrumental/acapella separation if it’s usable live.

Edit: Seriously, you’re censuring the word c*r*a*p*p*y ?
