NI Kontrol s61 Freeze

Hi all

I just got the new NI Kontrol s61 MK3 after returning the previous one due to defects with hot black keys. I am playing the keyboard in Kontakt 7 and it just stops working. Then I restart the keyboard and it works again. That happens every time after a few minutes of playing. This did not happen with my previous unit.
You can see in the screenshoot provided that keys appear as they are played in Kontakt and it is stuck like this. The Kontakt itself still works if I click in the Kontakt UI with a mouse, which implies there is a problem with the keyboard signal.

Is this a known issue with a fix? Did not see it in the troubleshooter.

Thinking maybe my last product registered might be interfering with the new unit? Trying to reinstall all NI software.

Hi thanks for your reply!

I have been using one USB-C to USB-C cable to provide power to the unit since the start. Since the moment I switched the second cable, the USB-C to USB-A cable I've been using to connect to my laptop, I did not experience issues with freezing. The cable is the only thing that I changed after the last glitch I had.

Anyway, happy that it seems to be working now.
