hello, i have notice that my root file has a big storage space. How can i reduce my file root space without losing any information (cue points, grids, loops, history playing etc)? thanks!

Just take a look yourself and it becomes clear. Every time you close traktor it saves a backup of the collection.nml and settings.

You don't need any of them. But of course if you deleted a playlist or whatever and regret it, you no longer can't load an old colletion.nml any more.

     are you sure?

You could move them to another location and try yourself ;-)

Why is your installation folder in your download folder?

Check if your Native Instruments folder contains other folders for different Traktor versions, e.g. Traktor 3.11.1, Traktor 3.10 etc.

Make sure that all settings etc. are imported into the version you are using and then delete the version folders you don't need.

Depending on the size of your music collection, one version can of course contain a larger amount of data, for example my 26,000 tracks take up almost 10 GB per Traktor version.

I had it on my documents but one drive was coping it for back up and was changing name tags etc. that’s why I removed it from there. I don’t have previous versions.

You can probably delete some of the stuff from backup.

But in any case make sure to have a backup of your collection.nml on another computer/device. If something happens to your computer you can restore your playlists etc.

Also check your ~/Documents/Native Instruments folder, sometimes there are a few older version you don't need any more.
