Back in reaktor 5 , i had virtually NO ISSUES having my behringer bcr2000 control program changes . now it seems in R6, i cant get ANY ensembles made with r6 to work with PC messages. CC messages work fine it seems, and can midimap those just fine.

is it just me? the old ensembles i saved midi map with still work just fine, and i can use my 2 buttons to cycle up or down snaps with.

just wondering what if anything changed, any workarounds, etc.

It might be your midi settings. I assume your Behringer is an external unit. I don't have a problem with R6 receiving program changes or any controller changes. It couldn't be sysx because reactor doesn't respond to system exclusive. Does your Behringer send out an other type of controller info other than midi? You can try some of the ensembles from the user library. There's probably several midi display ensembles in there for testing. What about OSC, have you used that?

i was able to get working Program Change msgs on SOME r6 ensembles. (not even sure what I did).

i noticed after about 17 years, that cc#32 controls bank select lol… so now i gota dedicate that cc #to a knob just for that . that really opens some doors for me . i would love to find a hardware controller with enough buttons and banks selectable to have 128 ( so that i could go from snap 55 to snap 14 , then bank 3 snap 5 etc…)

ive noticed it tends to be block based ensembles more (but not all) that dont have PC msgs working.

im wondering if its a build matter (like something in the ensemble build that needs to be hooked up).

still investigating. thanks for the response Studiowaves !

Yeah, I forgot about the wide variety of patches to choose from using the banks. You get into that and there's a lot more than 128 patches. My Emu Proteus 2000 is like that. Doesn't your daw send banks along with program changes when you start playing?
