I have problems on my sets with sound lags. at any time the sound stops for half a second and then continues to play. I tried everything, reinstalled Traktor 3.11 etc. I use an M2 Mac and a s4 mk3. now I think it's hardware issue. anyone had the same problem?

I'm not a Traktor user, but this might be non-specific to it anyway. It's worth a shot, I suppose.

I've had the problem with plugins in general, and once just recently in Arturia's Analog Laboratory (in standalone, not as a VST loaded into a different Host or DAW). My issue was because I was running analog lab standalone in that moment, but had never used it in standalone before, so I had never reset the ASIO interface to my UAD interface's ASIO output.

The latency and delayed notes was very disappointing, until I realized my error.

Check that, and if I think of anything else I'll come back.

Can you turn off the internet and see what happens. It might be a priority issue, as though other things are more important to keep up with so it stops your sound card while it does something else.

I seriously don't understand, the old 3.11 won't be fixed, and they're offering the also flawed TP4 for an expensive upgrade? Is that right?! Nobody cares????

Yeah, I usually set my latency to 128. Occasionally I can get 64 with little going on especially with the internet off. On occasion with a huge project, I have to bump the latency up to 256 or more. When it gets that bad I generally freeze tracks that are running vst's. Then the tracks play the wave file and don't have to process anything. That's a big help on multi track, I doubt there are any modern daws that don't freeze a track.
