Traktor 7 has ceased to record ?

I click record to record a mix and a box pops up saying Audio Recording could not be started ? Why is this happening ? I have panicked and tried to press buttons ? Can anyone tell me how to set it up to record a mix in External Mode ?

Make sure that you select a Directory where Traktor can write files with your user permissions.

If you want to record from an external source, select a Deck or FX Send inputs.

Be sure that you have really selected real physical inputs of your audio interface for your input source in Input Routing.

You'll have to use an audio interface with inputs and connect your external mixers record out to them.

Re-set the recording folder.

Here is one example on how to set up recording in external mixing mode.

Make sure you get an incoming signal, route that to a deck and set that deck as the external recording thing. Eeez.

Do I need the DJM-250 Utility on my Macbook? I thought it was the settings in Traktor 4 that controlled the recordings ?

I can't understand why they just stopped working ? I can try to see if putting the DJM-250 MK2 Utility thing on my machine and follow the attached documentation.

I hope it works ? If it doesn't would I be able to obtain a remote assistance from NI ? Customer Services for disabled customers or, am I just hoping ?

If the djm is already set up to send master back I don't think you need to install it.

But you need to know what channels the master signal is on.

Recording can fail for a number if reasons. I kinda suspected the folder is not set up right.

Just give it a try. It's not complicated.

How I reset the recording folde Lord ? I still can't get my Traktor 7 to record again ? It's driving me crazy ?

In the settings under mix recorder. Just give it a try.

There is no such thing as Traktor 7.

It's Traktor Pro 4 not 7 sorry. What do I need to try in the hope of getting Mt recording back working Lord Carlos ?
