Stems separation is terrible : U have to pick song one by one for select " stems separation" (thanks for my 3k songs…). For 100 songs, he needs like 2-3h for convert … just imagine for 3K tracks. AND when u take the time for ping all the song u need to convert, Sometimes tacktor crash…. THANKS NI <3 ….

Perhaps you should read the the forums and release notes, for now it is one track at a time until they implement safe gaurds so that library does not get corrupted or have issues with with people doing mass conversions of whole library to stems. Once they have safe gaurds in place to protect library it will be implemented to do more then one at a time. Was Done like this especially for people like yourself who would convert 3k songs at once then cry if it crashed and your whole library became corrupted, it was done this way for now to protect track collections, yet you still cry. 🙈

We can only speculate. But i assume that their intentions are based on the promise to bring out more regular small updates in the future, which will advance their own rad map agenda, and to gradually incorporate the wishes and suggestions of the users into their decisions with appropriate monitoring.

The advantage of such an approach would be that their resources are not wasted on the wrong things.

There was also probably a certain amount of pressure because the competition never sleeps and they are miles ahead in certain features that have only just been made possible within Traktor Pro 4.

I know... the bottom line is that it sounds great that way, but anyone who has been around for a while knows that things are quickly left uncommented and we are left in the lurch again because there is no communication. But I think that the Traktor team, as it is now set up in the company, is confident that it will not repeat certain mistakes from the past... We will see.

Side note: These considerations are based only on possible development steps of the software. Perhaps new modular hardware will soon be on the way (pure speculation on my part) which will bring the internal agenda to a tight level in order to be ready on time.

If I remember correctly, that was also the case with the jump to Traktor 3 and the S4MK3?

I couldn't find the stems I had generated..not in the traktor stems folder although the free ones were there

Now the entire collection of tracks which I had separated and their stems are coming up as corrupted even though they are fine...tracks not stems that is.....on every other player...I am not happy with this as all the advice I have read does not appear to be useful in my case..

It’s like that meme - “yes, but..” , stems, but only one song batch , flexible grids, but can’t change first beat 😹

Over all , I think that’s not so bad , new features are really dope and I bet that ni update that to work like we all want , maybe it’s need some time for it

I jumped in here to read all about TP4 being the baddest update…as in sickest, best, most wickedest, lit. But no, your literally mean bad. I don't imagne you'll care much for my opinion but I love TP4. It's good and it will only get better. My F1 and D2s have a new life, my sets are better for being able to use stems natively (even though I previously used NUO-Stems). And Ozone Maximizer is pretty cool. Overall, I like TP4.
