Issues with Traktor Pro 4 and Pioneer mixer/players

I upgraded to Traktor Pro 4 last week and everything works well with the S8 that I have at home. However, at the radio station where I have a regular show, we have a Pioneer setup (DJM 900NXS and 2x CDJ 3000). I would previously just connect my laptop (MacBook Pro with M2 Max and Sonoma) via USB to all three devices, use the mixer as an audio interface and the players as controllers.

This has worked well with Traktor Pro 3 so far but I had issues with Traktor Pro 4: One of the channels would not play any audio. I could use both players as controllers, but the track that was playing on the second deck would not generate any output on the mixer. I did try to change the audio settings and assigned different output channels to the second deck but whatever I tried, I couldn't make it work.

I'm not entirely sure if this is actually a bug or just TP4 behaving differently than TP3. What I can definitely say that this was not an issue with TP3: Once I started TP3 again, everything just worked as expected with the same hardware configuration.

I usually have limited time to set up for my radio show so I'd like to do some targeted testing beforehand. Did anyone else have this issue? Do I need to configure TP4 differently? Or is it indeed a bug?

It's a known bug. They are working on a hot fix.
