Recorder in Traktor not working

Hi everyone,

I installed Traktor 4 and wanted to have a go at it, and of course record my set. But surprise, recorder doesn't get anything as signal. Got back to Traktor 3, recorder doesn't get anything as well… which was fine a few days ago.

I use external recording with the Audio 10 sound card and a mixer. (tried internal and I get signal in recorder). So my problem should be the sound card or my settings.

I've done the settings like I did them for all the Traktor I had for the last 15 years. checked on recorder tutorial if I was wrong somewhere. But no …

What is strange is that the sound card gets the signal, I can see the green IN light from Main saying it gets signal, if I plug headphones in the card, I can listen to what I'm doing. But for some strange reason, I get nothing back on the Traktor recorder.

Spent two hours yesterday night on it, and finally decided to post here as there is more in many heads than in mine alone ^^

If you have the input routing setting open and play something, do you see the blue bars moving next to "Input FX send"?

i tested the sound card by recording internal with the computer, then recording internal using audio 10 as sound card, it works too. but doesn't external when I use my mixer and the audio 10… (even if audio 10 sees the signal and that I can hear it in audio card headphones.

This is weird. Try to record input from Traktor with Audacity? Will this work? At least it should work with a correct cabling. 🤔

yes, I was already thinking about recording on another computer…

what is even more weird is that my Traktor 3 has now the same problem…

But audacity on the same computer from the same input gets a signal?

Audacity sees the Audio 10 sound card but doesn't get any signal from it to record from…

so the sound card is the problem….

tried another routing for recording, using another line of the audio 10. sound card detects it but still noting on Traktor's recording…

Is anyone here using an Audio 10 ? is mine broken somehow or Native is doing like Apple and messing with old gear to force people to buy new ?
