Traktor S8 - Loading STEMS doesn't show strips on hardware screens

Hello everyone.
Long-time user of Traktor, since V1 !
i've upgraded to traktor Pro 4 yesterday, love everything about it.
i've been pleasantly surprised that some of the features (Volume, filter) have naturally taken place where i instinctively tried first (the STEM deck, which i had never used before, since i didn't have ANY STEM tracks)
it would seem on my Traktor S8, the screen on the device will not show strips on the transport section while loading STEMs in that deck.
however, loading a regular tracks works just like it used to back in V3 (and V2)
my understanding is that the screens are feeding from a virtual traktor window that exists just for this purpose (outside the main UI); and maybe that part was forgotten in the coding process…
my question is more, is this a bug, a limitation, will this see a fix or some attention ?
considering the nature of my performances makes that i don't watch the hardware (i perform blindfolded?) it's not a big dealbreaker
i would prefer seeing the STEMs if possible, but if i can repurpose the screens for something else, i totally would)

Known Issues
- Stems waveforms initially not visible on D2 / S5 /S8
When loading stem files (associated or not) on the D2 / S5 / S8, the waveforms are not displayed (stripe is). With any screen interaction triggering a refresh, the waveforms are shown correctly. - Ozone Maximizer Settings not correctly applied to Mix Recorder
The Ozone Maximizer's settings are not correctly applied to the Mix Recorder. Make sure to check your recording levels manually. - Generate Stems disabled in Explorer Node
Stem generation is currently disabled in all subfolders of the Explorer Node. - Audio Interfaces with more than 12 channels
When using an Audio Interface with more than 12 channels it is currently not possible to select channels with a index above 2 for Deck A, above 4 for Deck b, above 6 for Deck C, and above 8 for Deck D. This issue will be resolved very soon.

i should read more into these releases notes; i usually only glance over and get excited at the new features (or lack thereof…)
Thanks, will keep an eye out :)1 -
This bug goes back to at least 3.4.2 (don't have an older version to test with), so I'm glad they're finally addressing it. I just wish we didn't have to pay 75 bucks to get bug fixes :)

Here's the workaround I use with my D2s. Pretty certain it will work for a S8 as well:
