core buttons react different

hello reaktor experts,

i would like to follow up on the topic of my last question from december 2023 (thanks again for the quick and good solution). i have installed these core buttons again in a project - knowing about the limitation that they cannot be controlled via MIDI. here, too, there are many buttons (approx. 100), so that the need for MIDI control is not given.
but there is another phenomenon: all the buttons are identically constructed. and yet there are some that react as expected after open, and some that have to be clicked twice before they react. once these are used, they then work as expected. i can't find the reason for this...

thanks in advance for any ideas,
best regards, bernd

Probably related to GUI layer assignments for the components of the button.

It can also be caused by some background element being slightly larger, and then if clicked accidentally, 'stealing' mouse focus (or something like that anyway).

I recognise the issue you are describing, but I don't remember the details, probably because each time it happens to me I just 'massage' the various components until I get it working. This part of Reaktor building is something of a pain. Just understand that it is possible to get things like this to work, and stick at it!
