How long does it take for your PC or Mac to make a stem in Traktor Pro 4?

I have a 2020 Windows PC with a 10th generation i7core processor, 16MB of Ram, Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060 graphics card. and a 2018 MacBook Pro with an i5 processor. On the PC, making a stem takes about 4 minutes. On the Mac it takes about 5 minutes. Has anyone tested how long it takes on an M1 or M2 Mac?

On my machine (i9 13900, 32GB, Win10) it takes 15-18 minutes to seperate 6-8 minute tracks (Progressive House). It surprises me that the process only takes a few minutes for some Intel/Windows users here. The process also maxes out my entire system. It's very demoralizing because it would take me weeks to separate my tracks at this rate. The fact that bulk separation isn't available at this point doesn't help either. Any ideas why it takes that long on my machine?

You can actually queue up multiple seperation tasks. That's at least something. Later I'll install T4 on my M1 Mac Mini to run some A/B tests.

I tested separation on my M1 MacMini today. The same tracks that take 16 - 18 minutes on my Windows machine only need 3 - 4 minutes on there. I also tried to quit any software, that could potentially interfere with the separaterion process (antivirus & stuff like that). Nothing has a postive impact on the matter. Since my drives are also well performing Nvmes, I can't identify any bottleneck at the moment.

    Track length 4:00 = 1:27 creating time

    Track length 7:09 = 2:19 creating time

    1:20 for a 3:05 minutes FLAC track.

    1:26 for a 3:01 minutes AAC track.

System: Windows 11, Intel i9-9900K with 32GB RAM.

That seems odd, as my system specs are similar and it takes 1/3 of the track length, as mentioned in previous post.

I just checked whether track length has anything to do with it. A 10:33 track took 4:40 minutes.

2-3 minutes on my old dual core i5. What I do like is that I can process a track while mixing and it segregates the processing from the main Traktor thread.

NI will improve these processing times in future releases. Currently it's CPU only, it's GPU processing you need for speed.

Is traktor pro 4 using automatically the whole ram ? Or is there a way to assign more ram to it?
